Precision Laser-Based Metal Level Monitoring and Control

Precise control of the metal level in ingot molds and in the aluminum delivery trough is a necessity for the efficient casting of aluminum, influencing safety of the process, equipment longevity, and product quality. Wagstaff offers the LaunderLine Gocator 2385 and LaunderDam Gocator 2381 to reliably perform this function with a high level of accuracy and flexibility.

Wagstaff sensor assemblies are designed for the demanding conditions of molten metal level control applications in the aluminum and other nonferrous industries. Gocator’s powerful diagnostics provide a clear picture of the sensor’s status during the casting process, and integrate to a wide range of control systems.
